Word of the Pokemon bounty hunter with rare Pokemon had reached far and wide, it seemed, and Holland had decided to see what there was to offer. He came with both Violet and Yucca out of their pokeballs, so that they could see what everything was about. Thus far, Violet and Yucca had not
gotten along, and Holland feared that he would need to get rid of the little Sandshrew as much as he enjoyed the desert Pokemon's company. It just wasn't in him to keep the Pokemon if Violet wasn't going to get along - he and Violet shared a special connection that would trump any other Pokemon he caught.
It was about midday, so people were milling about on their way to lunch or coming from a meal. As he moved toward the stall that this bounty hunter had set up, he caught the scent of a fresh salad with a side of sushi. Already he could hear Yew smacking his lips, and before he knew it the Sandshrew had scooted off to beg for remnants off the woman that was trying to enjoy a lunch.
A sheepish grin crossed Holland's face as he approached at a quicker pace, with Violet lose to his legs. "Ah, I'm sorry about him," a hand went to ruffle the back of his silver hair, somewhat embarrassed by the Sandshrew's behavior.
Violet shot a saucy look in the Sandshrew's direction, her little trunk practically in the air as she refused to speak. Maybe the bounty hunter would want the Sandshrew after all!
Holland did take note of the advertisement that this woman offered a Mawile in trade for a Sandshrew, and he wondered if the woman would like Yucca. A Mawile seemed really awesome! Just that edge of coolness that surrounded the fairy-steel type, that might actually work well in competing in a different category besides just cute, when it came to coordinating. As he was certain that Violet most definitely fit into the cute category.
"I noticed your advertisement for trades... If he's not too much trouble I'd like to offer my Sandshrew up for your Mawile. He seems to like you." While Holland spoke, Yucca's chubby arms were up in the air, waiting for a piece of sushi or some greens to rain down on him. To the Sandshrew, it honestly didn't matter, he just wanted some food and didn't really have a preference for what it turned out to be.
